Last winter, I put it out there into our big ol’ universe that I would completely love to photograph a destination wedding. With a little help of social media, I reached out to all the amazingly in love couples abroad, and I asked if anyone were to be getting married away somewhere beautiful, I would love to come out to photograph the sweet day. Prayers and callings were answered, as Amanda got in touch with me about her intimate cabin getaway, nestled between the foggy mountains of quaint Pemberton, in British Columbia. I made the drive up to Pemberton, via the Sea to Sky highway, and was completely blown away by BC’s beauty. It was my first time out west, and already can’t wait to make the trip back with my loved ones. I am so excited to share some highlight from this stunning day, as it marks my first destination wedding, and first wedding shot alone! (Another post coming on that shortly!) Queue all the feels when you truly can’t believe these beautiful people, and these beautiful places is your job! Amanda + Alex, I truly cannot thank you both enough for trusting in me to document your wedding day; it was super romantic, and your family is really one of the sweetest I have met. With so much love, and a grateful, full heart, Lea xo
