The foggy, rolling hills of Grey County in the Spring. An intimate vineyard wedding. The flowers on the grape vine getting ready for the harvest to come. Farm fresh food and all of your loved ones in one sweet space. This only begins to tell the story of this intimate vineyard wedding overlooking Georgian Bay. Jackie and Matt hosted an intimate elopement at a family vineyard; the place where they first met, and where Matt’s family visits most weekends in the summer. When I arrived, my jaw completely dropped as I pulled up to the farm house where Matt’s parent’s live; an 1800’s log home that must have sat on acres upon acres of forest and one big pond. I was there to document the day as it was; no formal portraits, no couples photos. Only all the little moments flowing into one another ever so beautifully, and I loved on that so much!
From the moment I arrived I felt like I was in a movie; what their guests wore, the music, all the love, and I swear the fog made it even more romantic that day! Jackie and Matt, thank you both from the bottom of my heart for including me as a part of your story – your wedding will always be one of my absolute favourite days I’ve photographed, and stories I’ve told.
